Mela – Synth & FX app for iPhone and iPad

Mela is an intuitive virtual analog synthesizer and an effects module with a streamlined interface. It can be loaded either as an instrument or an effect plug-in (Mela FX) inside host applications such as AUM, GarageBand, Cubasis and NanoStudio.

Mela – Synth Audio Unit Extension
• 3 tone oscillators with adjustable shapes
• Noise oscillator
• 2 virtual analog style filters with flexible routing options
• 3 envelopes with adjustable level, time and curve parameters
• Envelope modes: sustain, trigger and loop
• 2 tempo sync-able LFOs
• Build-in effects: distortion, phaser, chorus and delay

Mela FX – Multi-FX Audio Unit Extension
• Virtual analog style filter
• Effects: distortion, phaser, chorus and delay
• 2 tempo sync-able LFOs
• Envelope Follower with Peak/RMS modes
• Follower can be driven by the audio units normal input or side chain

Filters
• 2-pole or 4-pole filter types of low-pass, band-pass and high-pass
• Ability to morph between the filter types

Modulation Matrix
• Both Mela Synth and Mela FX come with a fully featured modulation matrix
• Most parameters of the audio units can be modulated
• Modulation sources: Envelope Generators, Envelope Follower and LFOs
• MIDI sources: Velocity, Key, Mod Wheel, Aftertouch and Pitch Bend
• The matrix supports both positive and negative modulation intensities

Audio Unit Extension Features
• Preset management with import/export features
